I really want to read The Science CurioBox e-Magazine on my mobile device. Is this possible?
Can I download The Science CurioBox e-Magazine and read on my mobile devices or laptop / PC?
Yes, it's possible. There are a number of ways in which you can do so.
However, any multimedia effects e.g. audio will not be included in PDF format.
Mobile Devices
We will be providing a downloadable PDF version of The Science CurioBox e-Magazine if you purchase the e-Magazine individually.
This is to ensure that the e-Magazine is available anytime, anywhere.
We are adamant that The Science CurioBox promotes learning and is available easily to our children.
However, you must abide by the rule that the download is for personal use only.
We would like you to respect and acknowledge our hard work and the fact that we've priced it affordable and accessible for the masses.
via Google Play Books (Recommended)
- Download our e-Magazine on your PC / laptop and upload to Google Play - My Books (Instructions available here)
- Install Google Books via the Play Store on your mobile device and sync your mobile device with your Google Account
- The e-Magazine is ready to be read
- We recommend Google Play Books because it displays our e-Magazine optimally and the flip effect is incorporated seamlessly
via Free eBook Readers
- We have tested our e-Magazine on most PDF book readers and they can definitely be read like any e-book
- However, you may need to change the display settings to enable landscape mode to ensure optimal effect
- So far, Aldiko Book Reader produces the best reading experience on Android mobile phones
Desktop / Laptop
We've included an .EXE file if you purchase the e-Magazine.
This works the BEST, even displays multimedia files beautifully!
You'll also receive the PDF version of our e-Magazine, you'll be able to read it offline as long as you have a PDF Reader.
Can I access the flash-based games and quizzes on my mobile phone?
You can download the FREE Puffin Browser or FREE Flash Fox via Google Play Store OR, Flash Fox Browser (lots of Ads, though). It is able to display and run some Flash-based activities in our Learning Packages. However, we've noticed that the free browser has problems displaying the latest HTML5 elements. So you might still see some blank spaces.
We still recommend access to out Learning Packages via desktop / laptop for the best results!
